“Mantra: Chanting of Technology”, at Pokhara
Mantra: Chanting of Technology, third event is to be started on 26th of Magh to 2nd of Falgun in Pokhara City at Sabha Griha, New Road. With the slogan of “नेपाल बन्छ, जब नेपाल मै बन्छ” Mantra is coming to Pokhara with seven days exhibition.
Mantra is a Nepal based tech-fair that brings together organizations, companies, enterprising tech enthusiasts, entrepreneurs and professionals involved in various fields of technology, art, science, medical and design.
It is an integral product of the collaborative effort of InG and USART. Since Mantra Kathmandu 2017 and Biratnagar 2018 has been successful ended to create a cross-platform for innovators in Nepal and also globally.
They provide an efficient rostrum every quarterly to facilitate discussion and showcase of latest technological advancement in Nepal and around the world. The first event was hosted at Kathmandu on Ashwin 27-28 2074 [ October 13th-14th 2017 ] and the second event at Biratnagar on Poush 21st-22nd / 2074 [ January 5th-6th / 2017 ].
As Pankaj Tiwari told us (Co-ordinator of Mantra: Chanting of Technology, Pokhara), “We have been able to attract personalities from Media, Art, Science, and Astronomy, Art, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, IT, Industrial Engineering, Bio-Engineering, Aerospace, Medical and Education and more to come.”
They envision a recurring mega Tech Festival which is going to be one of its kind. They promise to provide catering which will be the optimum blend of the Technology and Art. The outcomes of the event would provide a platform to discuss, debate and envision the future of technological innovations, social entrepreneurship, and their sustainability; helping Nepal develop into a Product Designing and Industrial Planning Hub.
As Sudip Phyual stated, “In this exhibition program, exhibitors from our team will demonstrate their products and concepts. The 3D Printer Machine, CNC Machines, Junkiri Mandala’s Mobile Bus Theater, Robotic Lake Sweeper, Drones, Robotic Arm, Vertical Plotter, Rubics Cube Solver, Street Sweeper Machine, 3D Pen, Pani Mantra and Voice Information Box are included in this exhibition.”
The famous artists of the Nepali Cinematographic region including Dayahang Rai, Bipin Karki, Praveen Khatiwada, Bijay Baral, Ankit Khadka, Nazir Hussain, Abhay Baral, Bholaraj Sapkota, Lokendra Lekhakh, Somnath Khanal, Shakti Rai, Anup Neupane, Nisha Karki, Aakash Magar, Kedar Shrestha has been supporting the campaign with active contribution. Mantra: Chanting of Technology, is a fusion of Art and Technology.
‘Mira Miraj’ technology drama directed by Vikash Joshi will be staged in the City Hall from 1 PM and another show 5 PM. Another interesting attraction is Mandala’s Mobile Bus Theatre which will compound musical instruments of Aadhasur, Zero Circle Entertainment, and local bands will too perform Concert on the stage on Falgun 2nd [14th February], Valentine’s Day.
More than 10,000+ people are expected to visit, the overview of the 6-day program.
